Scoring and test dates
Scoring
- The composite score ranges from 1 to 36 and is calculated from English, Math and Reading only.
- Science and Writing don't affect the composite; if Science is taken, a STEM score is also reported together with Math.
Test dates
- 2026–27 international dates: 23–24 October 2026, 11–12 December 2026, 12–13 February 2027, 2–3 April 2027, 11–12 June 2027, 9–10 July 2027.

Our preparation route
Math · Science Reasoning · Reading · English
- 01
Science Reasoning
We master data representation, research summaries and conflicting viewpoints under strict time limits.
- 02
Math & Geometry
We build fluency across intermediate algebra, plane geometry, and coordinate trigonometry.
- 03
Time & Pace Management
We develop customized pacing strategies to maximize accurate attempts across all four sections.
We combine diagnostic testing with targeted speed drills and full-length proctored simulations to attain 34+ composite scores.
ACT frequently asked questions
Should I take the SAT or ACT?
A diagnostic baseline helps determine which test best fits your reading speed, math strengths, and scientific data fluency.
Does the Science section require advanced science recall?
No. It primarily tests scientific literacy, data interpretation, and logical analysis of experimental models.
Is the ACT Science section required?
No. Since September 2025 it is optional and does not affect the composite score. If you take Science, a STEM score is also reported together with Math.
How long is the ACT?
The required sections (English, Math, Reading) take 125 minutes; with Science, 165 minutes.
How can I take the ACT outside the US?
Outside the US the test is taken only at a test centre, on computer. In 2026–27 there are international test dates in October, December, February, April, June and July.
