Oriens Academy is dedicated to safeguarding the privacy and personal data of our students and site visitors.
1. Information Collection
We collect basic information (name, email) when you create an account. Your phone number is not requested as a general profile field; it is only asked when paying by card, solely for that transaction's 3D Secure verification, and is not saved to your account or student profile.
2. Payment Security
Payment transactions are secured via PayTR's 256-bit SSL encrypted and 3D Secure verified infrastructure. Sensitive card numbers are never stored on our servers.
3. Third-Party Integrations
We only partner with trusted service providers necessary for service fulfillment: Supabase (authentication and database), PayTR (payments), Google Workspace (transactional email), Google Calendar/Meet (lesson scheduling and video), Cloudflare Turnstile (security and bot prevention), and Google Analytics (site usage statistics). We do not sell user data.
4. Account Deletion and Data Retention
You can delete or anonymize your account directly from the student portal. As long as you have no active lesson rights, no upcoming lesson, and no payment/refund in progress, your personal profile details are deleted or irreversibly anonymized. Financial/legal records such as payment transactions that must be retained by law are kept separately, independent of your identity, for the period required by applicable regulation.

2. Categories of Processed Data
Identity data (name, surname) and contact data (email) are processed for account creation and communication. Phone number is not collected as a general profile/contact field; it is requested only at the card-payment step for that transaction's 3D Secure verification and is not saved to your student/account profile. We also process transaction and order records, student learning logs, and web log data.
3. Purposes of Processing
To deliver educational and consulting services, schedule lessons, process payments, fulfill statutory obligations, and provide customer support.
4. Data Transfers
Data is shared strictly to the extent necessary with authorized public institutions; our licensed payment processor PayTR; Supabase for authentication, database, and application infrastructure; Google Workspace for transactional email delivery; and Cloudflare (Turnstile) for website security and bot/abuse prevention.
5. Data Subject Rights and Account Deletion
You possess the right to learn whether your data is processed, request information, request correction or deletion, and object to unlawful processing.
You can request deletion or anonymization of your account directly from the student portal's "Delete My Account" option. As long as you have no active lesson rights, no upcoming lesson, and no payment/refund in progress, your identifying details are deleted or irreversibly anonymized. Financial/legal records that must be retained by law (e.g. payment transactions) continue to be kept separately, independent of your identity, for the period required by applicable regulation.
